1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of 4job.com and related services provided by Cognexa Software Limited, 12 Archiepiskopou Makariou III Ave, 3030 Limassol, Cyprus. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Employers that hire through 4job.com are additionally bound by a separate employer services agreement.
2. The service
4job.com is a company-matching service. We analyse your profile and the employers in our network, show you companies that fit, and — when you approve — introduce you to the hiring manager through a 4job.com consultant.
We are not your employer and do not guarantee that any match will result in an interview, offer or employment. Employment decisions are made solely by employers.
3. Free for candidates
Our services are free for candidates. We are paid by employers when they hire. We will never ask you for payment for matching, introductions, interview preparation or offer negotiation.
4. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work, or seeking permission to work, in the countries you select. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
You may hold only one candidate account. Tell us immediately at support@4job.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Accurate information
You agree that the information in your profile is true, current and your own. Misrepresenting qualifications, employment history or right to work may lead to suspension of your account and withdrawal of introductions.
6. Acceptable use
You must not scrape or copy data from 4job.com, use the service to recruit for a third party, contact employers you met through 4job.com in order to circumvent our introduction process for that role, upload malicious code, or use the service in any unlawful, discriminatory or abusive way.
7. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the content you upload and grant us a licence to use it to provide the service. All other content on 4job.com — including the matching engine, salary data, guides and the 4job.com brand — belongs to Cognexa Software Limited or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.
8. Salary data and guidance
Salary benchmarks, match scores and career guidance are based on our data and expertise and are provided for information. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and actual offers may differ.
9. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or decisions of employers. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under Cyprus law.
10. Suspension and closing your account
You can close your account at any time in one click from your settings. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, after notice where reasonably possible.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or in your account. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes will be heard by the courts of Limassol, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have under the law of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
